Vietfish is hosted by Vietnam's Ministry of Fisheries and organized by Vietnam aquatic products processing and Export Association (vasep). It will be held at Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh International Exhibition Center from August 29 to 31, 2019. Since 1999, the exhibition has been successfully held for 19 times. It is an international exposition with world scale and enjoys high reputation in the international fishery industry.

The exhibitors are mainly from the United States, Brazil, Chile, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Spain, Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Russia, Egypt, Greece, India, Kuwait, China, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Bangladesh and other countries Fresh aquatic products, frozen aquatic products, dried aquatic products, canned aquatic products, various seasonings and other aquatic products, aquatic processing equipment and technology.

Vietnam is rich in aquatic products resources. According to statistics, there are 1200 kinds of fish and 70 kinds of shrimp along the coast of Vietnam. Many kinds of fish and shrimp have important development value. There are 900 species of fish in the Beibu Gulf alone. The annual production of marine fish in the central coastal area, the southern eastern coastal area and the Siam bay can reach hundreds of thousands of tons. For Chinese enterprises, whether it is import, or cooperative processing and re export, and provide advanced processing equipment, storage and refrigeration, it has great development potential.
